Tuesday's assignment,
Task 1:
I hope that everyone had fun yesterday on our field trip. Let’s reflect here a bit!
Write one paragraph as a reflection to our ROM field trip yesterday and try to include the following thoughts:
- Why did you join this trip?
- What did you like the most?
- What was the one thing that was completely new to you?
- What was/were the thing(s) that you did not like?
- Would you like to go there again? Why?
- How this trip has added to your “Canadian experience,” knowledge, learning … etc.
I liked the roof which was constructed from thousands of sheets of imported Venetian glass, cut into more than a million tiny colored squares. Although its interesting gold background was amusing.
I liked too that the museum included many images from different cultures throughout history.
It Represented the early cultures of the Americas.So I liked there the:
- Eagle from a northwest coast crest pole
- Inca thunder god, holding snakes representing bolts of lightning
- And above all I liked the:
- Symbols of classical cultures of the Mediterranean for example:
- Egyptian falcon
- Mythical Greek sea-horse
- and in general I liked every piece in the museum and I hope to visite it again some time
